Good morning Christmas spirits! Just wanted to hang up my stocking.
morning all, doesn't this look lovely?
Re: Queen and Slade, I played it yesterday and Last Christmas I wanted to cheer myself up and it worked!!
Tree and decorations go up tomorrow, and I can't wait to get all the old friends out again, the decorations we have got over the year and some from my hubby's mum's tree as well, off to the German Market in Brum next week, and look at the lights as well.

My favourite Christmas carols
Crikey Pinkbabe your tree goes up early...thought I was bad enough...we put ours up around the 1st..dependant on no:4 son..cos his b'day is the 7th dec & don't want him feeling overshadowed!...but he always says yes when I ask him...bless!.....he is nearly 19 btw...
It's a family tradition that I have kept going to be honest Slimfern and when I was at work, December was one of my busiest months with people needing their cars repaired and serviced before Christmas, it was easier to keep to the tradition.
Some people by me have already got the house lit up and the trees up, don't do the outside of the house, but the inside is a different matter.

I always put my tree up on December 14th, the day before OH's birthday. His mum used to do it and I've carried on the tradition.
Loving this thread, Chicken.
So is everyone having turkey for Christmas? I don't like it so we have a nice free range chicken and pork joint. Mmmmmmm, I want my Christmas dinner now.
I always get a crown...cos I don't like the brown meat!..
can never understand why it is dearer...but it is!...

We will be having turkey, Queenie. Hubby had suggested changing the menu but my sons shot that idea down in flames. I`ve raised traditionalists, when it comes to Christmas.

Oooh you shoulda heard mine when I suggested we got rid of the big tree in exchange for a little one....they kicked up such a bloody fuss!So now we have the little one by the front door with chocolates for their friends to take as they come & go...........I think they thought the smaller the tree the less pressies they would get...
