It is rather tiresome today as well ...........I thought it was bedtime in Seattle.

is there someone fiddling about in the middle of the night? are they 'Sleepless in Seattle'?

I've really never known things so bad on a regular basis on here ..............I do hope it's only temporary. I can sense a lot of folks getting very peed off.

I haven't been on here for a few nights but have lurked for a short while (about 15 mins)  and seen the comments about the speed. I have to say even not beeing logged in and trying to read was horrendous. That was at home. I'm at work at the minute (dinner time)  and have lurked/scrolled without being logged in. It seemed fine. I've now obviously logged in to post this so we'll just see how long it takes to go through.

I've been on my ipad and I've been having loads of problems.

I've noticed the slow-down starts as early as 5-6pm and gets worse around 8-10pm.

You are so kind

Moonie

It is slower than it used to be ....and it did cross my mind to wonder whether the start of the problem coincided with the new operating systems ....but as I'm not really computer savvy I'm probably way off beam !!

I also wondered whether any of our computer boffins thinks that the high volume/page count threads ,such as the Manor etc. could have anything to do with it . If so, we are more than happy to start building again if the Mods want to delete it

Apart from that I have to say that I don't seem to be suffering as much as some , but that could be because having had to deal with a) the loss of use of a laptop, b) the demise of the Gaga app  and c) learning to cope with one finger posting from the IPad , I'm just happy to still be here to contribute at all, however slowly

Hi, all:

I'm sorry about this. All I can tell you is that we ARE monitoring, but they aren't seeing any problems with the servers or anything. We are continually looking to improve performance, so I don't want you to think that nothing will ever be done for this.

I'll pass on the info about the disappearing stickies and the worst timeframes.

Um. I think I'm on 7 (and love it), but I haven't gone to Mavericks yet--I'm waiting for Dave to get all the kinks ironed out.

Lol...ditto I've gone to download Mavericks in the study computer , but keep chickening out ,
