I'm on IE and I've been logged out and it's taken me 5 minutes to get back in - mostly because I couldn't remember my email/password combo

Interestingly, the Arsenal forum I chat on is having problems too. The guy who set it up and runs it posted this:

I had to sign in just now. I didn't need to on either the Social Strata help forum or the Hoo.do sites so whatever happened here last night seems to have just been this forum.

It's possible that Seattle were working on the log in problems that some people using Internet Explorer have been having and reported this a day or so ago.

I use Firefox. I've just tried on Internet Explorer and also had to log in there.

I've just had to log in when I'm normally auto logged in... Not that big a problem (for me) to have to log in every time....... as long as its not for every post lol that would be mega annoying

Same I've had to login when I never usually log out.

I've been logged out as well and i'm on Chrome, plus the writing is very small now  took me a while to remember my pass word 

Aimee, if it's uncomfortably small try hitting Ctrl+, that'll make it larger, but it is possible that it'll be too large. Ctrl- will bring it back down.

El Loro, Ive had to log-in on IE too (i.e. enter my e-mail and password), even though I had the 'remember me' box ticked. As I use FF most of the time I do usually log-off IE if I've used it, but the 'remember me' should auto-fill the log in details.

I never log out on FF so should be permanently 'ON' whwn I launch GaGa.

In fact I don't even have to launch GaGa as I use FFs 'Save and Quit' function, so it automatically launches as soon as I go on-line.

P.S. You have to have 2 or more tabs open to get the 'Save and quit' option,

I always have my password stored, but this morning i had to log in and type it in that was a shock to the system I had no idea what it was.

Fluffy, on FF you can set options to do this - Tools - Options - General tab -  from When Firefox starts drop down menu select Show my windows and tabs from last time. This works even if you only have 1 tab open.

This MAY have something to do with the fact that we changed the URL of the board slighty yesterday: note that it's now just gagajoyjoy.com instead of talk.gagajoyjoy.com. There is a redirect, though, so that you shouldn't have to change anything on your side.

I'm just guessing, though: it's Saturday morning, and I'm at home with my coffee, not with the people that know these things.

If it keeps happening, try changing any bookmarks you have to the new URL.

Aimee, are you brave enough to log out completely and then put the New URL, as Lori describes, in the address line to get to the GaGa site, then log in again? That might fix the size issue, but I can't guarantee it.

You should be able to tick the remember me box again (if it's not already ticked)

El Loro, I have to admit that although I've been using FF for a fair while now, I haven't actually explored a lot of it's functionality.

I was running slow a few nights ago and my URL has changed but I haven't been kicked out 

I had to log back in, I'm using chrome and now my old link automatically logs me back in. I've closed the forum down twice and it's not asking me to sign in
