Did anyone watch this new series, they all seem like really nice people. Funny and sad moments. Can't wait for the next episode.

Hi heartache, didn't manage to watch it but look forward to catching it next week. Mind you I didn't like the family last year, those girls were a nightmare
I watched it and thought it was good, but I couldn't live with her husband (lol)
In the first 5/10 minutes I wasn't sure I would like it mainly because of the way the hubby kept asking his wife to make food and do things for him and neither came across as being happily married.
I'm glad I stuck with it though as the more I learnt about them I realised there relationship was better than it first came across.
I really liked the son's wife, lively lovely personality but the story of her Mum was really sad. I hope her Mum watches the programme and realises what she's missing out on through stubborness and misplaced pride. I'll be watching next week to see how it all unfolds

ohh see now there was somthing about the daughter in law that i thought was a bit fake. But loved the mum
The bit where they had the pillow fight was funny.
Can't wait for the next episode!

Have I got deja vu? I could have sworn I had already posted on this thread.
Anyway, I saw a trailer and it looked quite good so I gave it whirl and really enjoyed it.

It's always possible I suppose there were times when she played up for the camera just because she enjoyed the novelty of knowing she'd be on tv, hard to tell as it was the first prog. I liked that she was so affectionate with her in laws, she genuinely seems to care about them - I wonder how her own Mum felt about that if she saw it.TiGi - yes the pillow fight, and some things they both said later on - made me realise the relationship had more fun and lightheartness than first came across
