yes, yes he is
I've just watched the second episode... I'm grinning like a loon. EVERYBODY is double dealing and not to be trusted (apart from Bobby and Anne - so far anyway...) Love it.
Finally caught up. John Ross has got a long way to go before he reaches the level of sonofabitchery of his father. I am loving it
Was that a brilliant opening sequence, or what?
"...but most importantly, I feared my Daddy."
"power isn't something your given, real power is something you take".
"power isn't something your given, real power is something you take".
"Just think: it might be fun having JR at Southfork."
"Oh yeah: it'll be great, having a rattlesnake in the house!"
The whole episode was jam-packed with great one-liners - terrific stuff!
Hello users of this thread!
Just wondered how you felt about whether you need/want the thread as a sticky - a la the poll.
Looks like no one uses the thread to reply the thread could be dropped.

Well, a combination of computer and RL matters meant I wasn't around on Wednesday (and indeed, I haven't seen all of the latest episode yet! )
Having said that: I'm not going to be posting here on my own...

You're a drunk and an unfit forum member.
Due to general lack of interest this thread will be unstickied soon.
Finally up to speed. It's all going on there. Texan private investigators must be the busiest people on the planet. Elena really does look like she could do with a big bowl of chilli and re-fried beans.

Well, it didn't generate much interest here, but: what a great series!
Hugely enjoyable throughout, but still some great twists right at the very end, and some cracking dialogue.
Lot's of competition for best line in the final episode, but my choice has to be:
"The next time you ask me for a hug, you'll be huggging the business end of my shotgun!"
Can't wait for series two, with (presumably) Sue Ellen's election campaign and a lot more of Cliff Barnes!
I have bloody loved it!!!!
I posted this on FB earlier...
"Sooooo.. Elena is a floozy, Christopher is a sanctimonious smug git, Rebecca is a Barnes... that leaves me being Team John Ross! Figures! "
I flupping loved it! Wonder how Sue-Ellen did in the polls last night
I thought it was excellent Cinds. A little suspension of reality and lots of twists but gripping nonetheless.
Maybe I should have persevered a bit longer.
My only criticism of Dallas is there's not nearly enough of JR John Ross needs to up his game to be as bad as his daddy

Noooooo.. well, yeahhhhhhhh, well noooooooo.....
John Ross is the most vulnerable one there at the moment (a victim of his childhood etc) I hated Elena last night for being such a beatch to him...
Christopher gives it the "I am perfect" but is a right ruthless dick underneath it all.
I want John Ross to toughen up & kick some ass... but I do like that he has a squishy soft centre... I liked seeing a glimpse of the same in JR last night too
Cliff Barnes looked a bit 'wrong' last night.,. like he had a Bo Selector Craig David mask on or something

you got it bad girl but I know what you mean
I really dislike the Christopher character - I always want him to fail
I've just watched the last one - I loved it too, although it now feels like the whole series was just a scene setter for the 'proper' stuff to come.
