Ah well..   at least Ducks has been put in the "so old they are dead" generation as well!

I was waiting for someone to say I was the spitting image of Priscilla Presley

More like Sue Ellen I'd say. (Hic)   (Only kidding Ditty.)

I can't wait either!!!!!! I think my excitement about Dallas has surpassed even my excitement for Dr Who on Saturday!

Shame they couldn't round up a few more of the older and not dead lot though...let's hope the Newbies don't let the side down. Larry Hagman was dealing with his cancer battle when this series was filmed and Patrick had to pretend that Bobby HAD cancer....must have been very hard all round for them both....I suspect I will be a blubbing wreck whilst watching it.

I think it's cos it's been soooooooo long since the last Dallas...we have the Dr Who dvd sets to watch between series...have never invested in any Dallas ones, if they even exist!!!!!

Dynasty never did it for me..    I did try to watch it, there was a general belief that if you liked Dallas, then you'd like Dynasty.     I do remember watching it now & then, if it was on, if I was in (cos I think it was on a on a Saturday night)..   but could take it or leave it.

Crystal Carrington - meh!

Blake Carrington - double meh!

Alexis Colby - lets face it...  Joan Collins was the star attraction

I vaguely remember Blake & Alexis's son & daughter..

ooooh!   do remember Alexis's toyboy though..   Dex - he was the only one I remember as "do-able"

I am gonna have to try & find them now!   (I am currently trying to find "Dallas: The Early Years"  but its not an easy quest...   obviously not a Blockbusters top seller then )

Good luck. I remember a very naughty scene with a topless Pam and Swellin' and 2 sweaty labourers.

I have no idea why, but the words "a topless Pam & Swellin & 2 sweaty labourers" sounds about as erotic as a gangbang in the current CBB house

ohhh.. Dex!  Blimey Ditts - you're reminding me of so much now.   How many poor kids were called 'Fallon' back in the day.

I like Falcon Crest btw.

Ummm Dex Dexter, lovely guy! My favourite was when Dominique Devereaux (Diahann Carroll) joined the show. I can still see that full on smack to the face she landed on Alexis.

Also loved Knot's Landing during the day...between that and Quincy ME I may have missed a few philosophy tutorials when I was at uni....

That might explain why there were 40-50 people wearing stetsons, getting on a coach in my village yesterday morning.

I loved the Knotts landing. With that, and neighbours, when my son was a baby it was great for afternoon telly watching and having a cuppa whilst he had his nap.I used to rush around doing the housewifely stuff to make sure I had time for my afternoon telly.

When we bought a VCR it was like a gift from the gods because it meant I never had to miss an episode.

Reminds of of a guy I used to see on the bus and got off a Dennistoun. Wild Bill I think he went by     - was in the Taggart cowboy episode.

Hope you're enjoying yourself over there

It's been great ta, a proper chilloot! was supposed to go home last Monday but kept putting off ! Back to reality first thing tomorrow though

The really surreal bit was when the vikings from the festival at Largs caught the ferry over
