Sandinista was a triple vinyl treasure trove â I âinheritedâ a copy (and also the double vinyl London Calling) as a 12/13 year old when my bro left for uni â and I canât say Iâve ever tired of listening to eitherâĶ

London Calling gets the plaudits but Sandinista is right up there, if a bit more patchy but certainly the band at the height of their musical eclectic creativity. Couldn't agree more OP, the Clash are untouchable!
Loved them and saw them many times!
I'll have to give it another listen. It's on m'pod but I can remember wondering what all the fuss was about. Rolling Stone described them as 28th best ever band! They wouldn't make my top hundred!
