While I'm no party pooper (I've had my moments)  experience has taught me in the last few years to steer clear of them. It's all full of bitching and back biting and I'm not prepared to be involved in it.

I am working at the moment with hoards of Christmas do's im just about ready to stab someone in the face There is a line of drunkness that people on a christmas do instead of seeing as the stop line, think its the just started line. Honestly stag parties and hen do's at their worse are not as bad as Christmas do parties of any age group.  Its all that free drink

hi saz xxxx....oh yeah she's still with him..........he gets worse.....they got engaged.....he wanted her to give up her house......make her teenage son move in with his dad(cos he doesn't like him) and move in with him.........cos she didn't say yes he got in a huff and dumped her....took another woman away for a w/end on her birthday(this is about a week later)....the w/end she'd paid half for!!

course after a few days he was on the phone telling her he was sorry and he'll change...and she's back with him............but cos she won't 'commit'...ie:do what he wants...she's only allowed to wear the engagement ring when she's with him...then he takes it back til next time he sees her...

he's a proper fruitloop........

We used to do a works do for all our staff ..............it got complicated cos a lot of the part timers are under eighteen and it got a bit of a prob re alcohol .........we now give the staff the money but still have a night out with friends and family.

We're short on the ground this year (for reasons too complicated to go into) but there are eight of us.

we're booking in at 2 .............a spa afternoon - meal and party night - staying over 5* - breakfast together and .................I'm really looking forward to it.

Spongey . Saying that, my niece (Angela) the first man she went out with asked her to commit the ultimate sin and drop her dancing/teaching it. She dropped him instead   She loves it and now she's teaching the 'littlee's along with my other neice (Joanne)

Mental Spongey What is she doing with him?

Spongey - just read yours - we've had a horrible year with our daughter and a failed relationship. It has turned me inside out ...............she is 100% better than she was and has a new boyfriend (the jurys still out) ................we adored her last partner - they were together for eleven years I honestly think of him as my own son but ...........I can't make him love my daughter.

Kids what they do to us eh?

sprout xx.........we all tell her she's better off without him.........he's a nasty bit of work..a while ago he battered a 19 yr old lad to within an inch of his life.....got her to wash his blood splattered clothes....and she got arrested for perverting the course of justice.....she didn't turn up for work........we tried calling her....nothing......course she was in the cells(we didn't know)...was only when my boss got really worried later in the day and drove up past his house....and saw it all cordoned off with forensics there we knew something had happened

Just thinking back to work do's of the past there's always the following characters:

Spotty 'Nigel' who no-one wants to go near (no offence to Sheryl 18 and her Nigel).
The office geek who's about as interesting as a specimen of bird shit
The office bike who's having a mid-life crisis, always has her lils hanging out, wears the loudest and cheapest dress in the room and there's usually a wager on who she'll end up shaggin in the gents
The office pleb who uses too much hair gel, loves Ralph Lauren pastel colours, good looking but knows it
The cocaine snorting member of Senior Management.
The sometimes cocaine snorting MD

And there's the rest of the folk who will have a tipple but will leave with dignity intact, no fertilised eggs or inherited STD's.

saz i honestly don't know..........she says she likes 'bad boys'.......she did have a really nice b/f on one of their many 'breaks'...but she dumped him cos he was 'boring'.........everytime they split up she says that's it......but she always goes back to him.........i dunno if it's cos he's a flash harry or what...........but he's just nasty through n through...
