I've been ill all week and my husband has been an angel, so I decided to cook him a dinner (he usually cooks at the weekend) He opted for his favourite, homemade toad in the hole made with London sausages, creamed potatoes and broccoli with caramelised red onion gravy with balsamic vinegar. I have 2 similar containers, one is fine ground Malabar pepper the other is ground Saigon cinnamon, guess which one I've added to the potatoes?

You'd have been welcome carots, if you could have dug the toad in the hole out of the oval earthenware bowls I decided to cook them in (too make them look pretty) So we had pink potatoes and scrambled toad with burnt bits. As Craig Revel Horwood would say "It was a Deeeesaaasta"
Awwwwww
Look on the bright side - it means him indoors is back on weekend kitchen duty
