Babe I heard from three schools that the higher tier paper on Monday was a horror. Don't think you were the only student crying that night

My daughter (not clever at maths at all) did the Foundation paper. One of the questions was 'draw a line 8.4 cm long'.

She said she spent ages re-reading the question trying to find the catch, before she realised that yes, it really was that easy

Pam it really was a horror of an exam - there were none of the usual things you expect in a non calculator paper and it bore no relation to what has been tested within the last 4 years To keep my grade A I would need to get 75% from both papers combined but I doubt I got enough to get a grade D on Monday's paper    I can always resit in November but I might just make do with a grade B

Do you know anyone selling some cheap text books??
Depends on what board you are doing?   I have the AQA Higher tier book.  Someone also gave me the Edexel higher tier book which is in pretty good nick and practice exam papers.  I also have loads of revision books for AQA and one for Edexel   free to a good home or they're going on a bonfire
