Am waiting for my bread to defreeze as I forgot to take some from the freezer last night, so 2 rolls are in the oven. Nod
Once whilst standing at a bus stop with a load of people on a rainy day I shared my brolly with a guy, and we got chatting and had a great time, that we stopped waiting for a bus and went for a walk instead. Big Grin Did any of you ever do that?

It was strange how it all happened, we hit it off straight away and it didn't matter where we went after that. I was 18 ( I think), and he was at uni in another part of the country. I lived in the city, and no fields of any sort, all pavements. Big Grin He stayed with us now and again, but in the end it didn't work out, and could have been distances, I was in the East and he in the West....heck of a distance and I never went where he was. A case of end of. Big Grin

No, ok will tell you what I said. I hope his car breaks down on the way to(where he lived) and it rains and he can't get home. I was so angry at the time of me saying it, as he hurt my feelings, and why I had said it, and he told me in a letter that his car broke down, and it rained and rained and he couldn't get home. When I told my ma, she said I'll get it back, and that happened in a very dramatic way too. (shudder)

Used to do errants for my boss, and one morning was going to get some poplin for him. I came to a road with cars at a traffic light, so stopped and waited to cross, and just as I started to leave the pavement I got a strong shove in the back, fell on my knees to the pavement, and went into shock. It was so swift that I couldn't stop it from happening. My tights were all torn and blood poured from the injured knees, that I just stayed where I was for a bit, then got up and staggered back to work. I was the only one standing by those lights. From that day I never gave anyone a curse, strong or mild and as ma was right, I did get it back. ( shudder) I've never forgotten what happened. Skull

Think I'll miss the next bus, as I have another bus story equally spooky, but which happened here in England where I live. Years ago, got on a bus outside this building and he must have been the demon driver, as the bus was still moving when I got on, and I saw him glance at a passenger some seats behind, as I weaved my way to a seat, and saw the paeensger nod at him, as I sat down..and the bus increased in speed down this road, and down the hill and I was terrified, and was shouting for him to stop, to slow down, but he woudn't. He rushed down that hill on 2 side wheels and the bus was so far over to one side that I thought it was going to roll over, and never once did the driver slow down, he went down that hill on 2 wheels to the bottom, and when we got to the town, and we all go off, the driver was laughing, and I had a massive hypo. After that I never got on the bus down this road, nor any bus at all and never will, so leaving you all this bus, so that you have better luck than me, as you might get an angelic driver than a demon one.
