we have the same problem Lori, England is so small...but the same bloody rain cloud never moves from the Lake District

I've actually BEEN to the Lake District when it wasn't raining! Must have been those very few days in the summer when it doesn't rain!

I bet I was on holiday in The Canaries or the Med. I went abroad the sun came out, I came back and as soon as my feet touched Terra firma and it poured down   Did you visit Keswick, I'm about 20 mins away?

As long as you're wishing, wish that MORE THAN ONE OF YOU could catch the bus.

What!!!!! and have 10 days of squabbling about who killed Frank, how to cook a Clootie Dumpling, arguing about how to tie the ropes into the pettiest bow, what we should listen to on the radio, what the strange bird was hovering above, who has the prettiest pussy.............you would need a month in a nunnery in the Swiss Alps to get over it!!!!!!

Probably....but we'd just need a bigger boat.

We must have visited on the same day. When I went the weather was simply beautiful.

Knowing us it would be an argument over booze or food and which goes first

Now you are being silly, you know we would (mostly) all agree on that!
