I've been child minding and trying to repair a phone socket that I someone must have accidentally broken moving furniture...I've got my phone and Broadband stuck in the test socket.... I work around anything

 he's back - he went last Sunday and came home Wednesday .....my son was happy to see him

 ohhhh waayy more than material ....and yes he and his credit card are well aware  I'm sure he still thinks the trip was worth it - I certainly do ......now!

I've been preparing for the family descending on me for lunch tomorrow

I would have had to hit my ex over the head with a mash hammer to get his credit card.... now why didn't I think of that before  

We're not having Sunday lunch tomorrow...so I can be as hungover as I like 

 it was just stuff that we'd agreed needed to be bought anyway .....but he's an awful prevaricator when it comes to domestic purchases - so a wee guilt trip did the trick!

Gotta admit, I am doing some serious research tonight. Last week we went out to dinner to a really good authentic Italian restaurant, which we love. The meal was crap We went all retro and ordered a bottle of Frascati, which we haven't drunk in 100 years. That was crap too

So, tonight I have bought Frascati, to determine whether all Frascati is crap, or if it was just that bottle. I haven't quite made my mind up yet ... I may need another glass
