 Dame ....it was brilliant!!   i was a bit nervous about what we were in for, given his past troubles - but there was nothing to worry about - it was a stonking show and he very much still has "it". An eccentric, coquettish, slightly pervy it ....but still it!  He totally engaged with the audience and the band were fab - really edgy and raw - it was a proper gig rather than one of those nostalgia cash generating sideshows that we're seeing so much of.

I was quietly confident it would be a great night Hoochie, I loved him in his younger days  and mine 

I'm pleased he's still got it, he's had some rough times over the last few years...totally off his rocker now, but probably in a better place than we are
