Ooo...it's a little wild, over here:

just finished my concert weekend, and last Thursday night, we had a flood at our house (icemaker hose broke in the fridge, and flooded part of the main floor and part of the lower floor  . They brought in big herkin' fans to dry things out, and you can't hear yourself think. It's a real conversation-killer.

So, last night we moved ourselves and our two cats out to a hotel for 3-4 weeks. I'm feeling a tad discombobulated at the moment....

Blimey! That sounds horrendous Lori!  I presume you have good insurance cover... as you've moved fairly recently, I hope you have! How are the kids about it all?!  Awww. That must be a shocker! 

 

Does the hotel have a good cocktail bar though?  

I know they have a happy hour...we got there too late to participate last night, but we'll be trying it out very soon. 

 

Yes, we have good insurance..after the deductible they are covering our hotel along with a lot of other stuff, so we're feeling pretty lucky in that department.

I feel like I'm on vacation...but not on vacation.
