It's a train service Lori. Parts of it are underground....tunnels and stuff. *Goes to look for a link*
Rather use the Metro than the tube, some parts of the tube scare me to death

Actually, they're not bad. Trains are getting a bit old now and every now and again there's faults and they pull them off or they're late but it's not too bad really. Plus I've seen some new trains in action these past few weeks

actually Lori, most times when I have used it, its been great, Pam will know more though 
I took trains when I visited my sister (when she lived in Nottingham). We got stuck on the tube from the airport to our hotel in London. There was a breakdown of some sort, and all of a sudden there were hundreds of people flooding this small village, trying to get to London. We called a taxi 3 times before one showed up, and I'm pretty sure that one wasn't our taxi.
