and you expect there to be some left for Lori to throw
I was gonna say...WASTE them in a food fight? Not on your life!
That reminds me, though: might be a good fish and chip night.

lockwoods frozen ones are very good...if you can find a supplier for them Lori
have you tried Amazon for Bachelors dried peas Lori?
Tried to find Lockwoods in the US--no dice.
Tried Amazon for dried peas--no luck.
Tried that search you just gave me--dead end.
I think I'm stuck with canned Batchelor's for the moment...although I LOVE them, so it's not really a hardship.

I did look at sending you some (as you know we have a garage full) - I think it's a bit tricky sending this sort of stuff abroad though (and I'm a bit lazy at seeking out the info) - if anyone wants to look into it and talk me through it I'd be happy to keep you supplied.
Is it the fact that it's unpackaged food that's makes it difficult?
When my sister lived in Turkey, I sent her gelatin so she could make jam and jelly (couldn't find it over there, I guess). To make it fit in a smaller box, I took the little paper packages out of the cardboard boxes. Should have put them in a plastic bag or something, but I didn't think it would be an issue. Took it to the post office and filled out the customs form, etc. When I picked the box up off of the counter to get in line, I noticed a small line of white powder where the box had been. Looked a little bit like I was shipping cocaine.... but she got it, with no trouble.
Do you have any sweets? I'm really craving sugar right now....
