brilliant Jen......

Her performance last year was on constant repeat on the catch up tele! Was the only thing that would get Minime to sleep, she used to sit in her car seat watching and cry when it finished... yet i still love her (Adele, obviously i still love the baba!) even after hearing her over and over and over....

I think she stole the show last year and with that performance seems to have done it again.... I just hope we have a change of subject with the next CD

Out of all the acts I saw this year, the most impressive was Bruno Mars. However the pull of m'Deadwood boxset and prisoner's wives won. Adele to me is a bit of a pedestrian Cascada. I really am annoyed that I missed Hue and Cry's version of "shipbuilding" I knew it was going to be on Jools Holland and had spent ages trying to see it on catchup before I discovered it was on R2 and not BBC 2. Bugger!

I know your phone might not like this Joe - not a patch on Robert Wyatt ( but then I don't love Shuggie and Greet very much ! )

I missed Hughie AND Ray...?

Sis in law was there with the hoi polloi.  She said that Adele remarked that she felt like a trampoline standing next to Kylie   and that there was a big helter skelter for the after show party.

And apparently Jesse J needs 3 minders to take her to the lav....

Yes, you did..... and they were both looking mighty fine.

They must have big cubicles in the 02 ladies..   Wonder how those people managed to wee a couple of years ago when they were nobodies....

Am I the only person who thought George Michael  was completely out of it last night ?

He could barely string a sentence together. I've been a fan of Georges for yrs, but even I thought what a bloody disgrace! ... At least wait until you've presented the award before you head to the coking zone.  ... And to cut Adele off like that was another disgrace too Surely Blur could have waited another few minutes? .... They over-ran by about 10 minutes anyway

And another thing: who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put Keith Lemon on the Brits afterparty  on ITV2? ... As much as I love Keith on Celebrity Juice, he's no good interviewing people who had won Brits. There was poor Ed Sheeran with his two very well earnt Brits and he couldn't get a word in hedgeways with Keith blabbing on like an idiot .... Nope! There's a time and a place for Keith & that wasn't it I'm afraid.

I really enjoyed the BRITS.  Hmmmmm  Adele........I have never been a massive fan of hers and don't get all the hype tbh.... I have always thought she was a bit overhyped and I get a bit tired of her samey songs TBH.  But on the positive side, she is nice looking and looks great after her weightloss, and I am pleased she has conquered America, and her songs are actually quite good.  And she is quite nice to be fair.  So good luck to her.

Most of the awards were well deserved and I LOVE Bruno Mars, he is so talented and cute. He reminds me actually of a young Michael Jackson (circa the Rock with you album days..like around 1979/1980...)

Ed Sheerhan is adorable, but I have only heard 2 of his songs so I can't make a good critique of him really, I really dislike Florence of Florence and the machines voice (sorry fans,,,) it just grates on me... she has a horrid warble IMO.  When she comes on, I switch channels.

BLUR?  WTF?  This 5 hit wonder who haven't had a hit for one and a half decades get best contribution to music or whatever.  WHY?!  They were shit in the mid 90s with their naff mockney act and they're shit now.  And Damon wotsit's speech was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring!  Rihanna was OK, but I am sure she was miming through some of it, because the singing carried on when her mouth was not moving.  I do like Coldplay, but aren't a massive fan, and Lana Del Ray; again, only heard one or two songs, so can't judge properly.

And one direction getting best single???  The only positive side to that is that the dreadful Pixie Lott's ghastly rabble 'all about tonight' failed to get the award!

Coldplay leave me...  cold!

I don't get it, I really don't.   They are (in my, & obviously only my opinion) mediocre at best!  Boring & Bland are words that spring to mind

I feel exactly the same about Elbow

I'm with you ditts... coldplay do nothing for me either... all a bit meh...  (I quite Elbow though, what I've heard anyway)    I meant to say last night too.. I felt sorry for Emilie Sande - they announce she has won the Critic's Choice award .... cut to a shot of her sitting at her table with the award in front of her... then talk to Jessie j for 5 minutes?    (she obviously didn't need her three minders to take her to the loo at that point... )

George was out of his tree... made me laugh.. was nice to see him back from the brink of popping his clogs, so I'll give him this one...
