In general neither do I. I can understand a director taking inspiration from other films, but for me, QT takes whole chunks and copies far too much.
I'm thinking that to come up with the name for the Hateful Eight, he was sat around going I love the Magnificent Seven and I want to copy that but how do I do it. I know, make them hateful instead of magnificent and add one to get eight !!!

I think I heard that it was because no black actors had been nominated.

However, I did like a lot of Django, but mainly due to Christoph Waltz, and that other film he was in that was a Nazi.
