It's a shame they sound so fecking tight.. They said they had a glass of wine last night, but never usually bother apart from Christmas.
Jeebus! WHY does it always go to those? I'd make a difference to so many people's lives if I won. and I sure wouldn't be some abstemious git whose only ambition is a fecking mobile home.
I don't think they have really taken in what they have won really,as In I might get a new car etc,they both have health problems and when the guy said he will still buy a lottery ticket tonight,well.However I will say who are "we" to decide who is worthy of winning the lottery etc,pure luck,they paid for the ticket ,they won,good on them.
I would NEVER go public if I'd won that much. Now they can look forward to a lifetime of security teams following them every time they want to go out to the corner shop, a million begging letters a week and underworld gangs wanting to kidnap them and cut their ears off for ransom 
Yea I'd have kept Schtum too..but if they think they can carry on "as normal" they are deluded.

Well, I don't know what they could do about the family and details short of moving to another country, but obviously they should move when all the hoo-ha's died down
Small world, my sisters daughter went to school with the couples daughter at Largs academy,she knows the mum quite well. She was talking to her on the phone, they still keep in touch.The daughter has changed her surname on facebook etc.

On the subject of going public - I wouldn't. I can understand them saying that they didn't want to lie when they started buying stuff but they could have kept quiet for a few weeks and then made out they won a couple of million on the normal lottery or summat
