Magical mystery tour.
SPLHCB
The White Album
Abbey Road
Let it be.

The rest of 'em I don't think will benefit from remastering. I don't really like 'em enough even though I have 'em all.

The White Album is one that he bought,...I dunno what other ones he has coming though.

I'm not a massive Beatles fan, although I did download My Sweet Lord by GH just the other night.

When they say they have digitally remastered
them, what does that actually mean to the listener.

Its a cleaner sound....

Just right for those of us who are the wrong side of 60 (i'm 55) Acute hearing loss brought on by too many Who, Groundhogs, and Led Zeppelin concerts played at Volume 11 on poor equipment.

HIYA JOE Wave LOUD Big Grin
I like that Led Zep era of metal too Big Grin
Ozzy, Motorhead, Priest etc.
Moonie
Haven't yet would probably buy their first album, because I love the songs on it and Sgt Pepper, because I nicked that one off my mum many years ago and would love to see how it can sound any better remastered.

Love the Beatles, grew up listening to their music, and Motown as my mum was a huge fan and also love reggae as having West Indian neighbours they used to play reggae and ska all the time and I used to hear it and love it.

Why don't you get any good reggae any more??

I see your point but often albums have medleys, or tracks which segue into each other.
On the blue album don't you miss the excellent Abbey Road side two medley, and instead get the appalling Something, and Octopus's garden?

I think it depends on how much you are really into The Beatles, of course for the true fan, they will have all the albums and yes that medley is something that is very good and raw, its a jammers orgasm Thumbs Up

To feel the real Beatles, i have the Cavern and German gigs on tape, not a great recording though Laugh but it is about the Beatles roots that you hear the real them before they hit the singles market.

What you saying sorry for Hug

Oasis are influenced by The Beatles and i cant stand their music, i am not a massive Beatles fan, but some of their songs are so ahead of their time and cleverly written.

I am not a big studio album fan, i like live recordings

Beatles never went away as far as I am concerned. I already have all of their albums so do not think I will be re-buying them despite the digitally remastering etc.

I wouldnt want them because they are digitally remastered, it screws up the rawness of the 1960's recordings, dont see the point in it
