As one of the voting baby boomers I hasten to tell you that he's not thrown any money in my direction

Are you affluent?  They only chuck money at the affluent baby boomers.

If in the morning I find out the Tories have won I can't believe how many have fallen under his spell and didn't notice what he avoided saying about his decisions for the future. The Nom Dom's and the elite I accept they back him because of self interest but the average day to day folk trying to keep ahead and struggling? no way or reason for them to support him. In a recent Freudian slip he mentioned career then hurriedly changed it to country. Surely there are far more day to day people coping with ever rising bills, loss of employment and just trying to stay ahead etc which for some is impossible. A depressing forecast for many for the future if he wins

Had to roll my eyes at the UKIP bloke who is ex-tory whinging about the electoral system being unrepresentative and unfair, but when in power they stitched Clegg up like a kipper so PR was never going to get a toe hold.

I'm not convinced about PR. Surely we would end up mit an Italian style Crisis of Hegemony.

But the truth of it is whoever had won last night at least half the country would be fed up ....that's first past the post democracy for you ....sadly the days of conviction politics ( or rather conviction politicians ) are long gone . Nowadays all the parties bow down to big big business and the media ....whatever they say when in opposition . But the world will keep on turning , and in 5 years ....or sooner ...we will get to do this all again!

So, before I go and prop my eyes open with matchsticks ....and wait to see what * colour*  my own constituency has turned ....I just wanted to say congratulations to Scotty , EFFT , and and other SNP FM's ..that was some result you had last night And commiserations to Kaffs and Yogi ....I know you will both be devastated
