The two major employers in my area have said they will up sticks if they lose the advantages of being in Europe. They will promote British jobs for British people, which would raise the minimum wage and those who are earning lower yearly wages wont have to pay tax.

The EU is a fraction of the world trading block. I think the employers you speak of are simply scaremongering just like was done to the Scottish voters last year before their referendum.
