I think he may well wriggle out of it, Baz.  He will come up with something along the lines of Jess being bitter and twisted and trying to break them up; Helen will hear what she wants to hear and they will make up over faggot and pease pudding in the Bull (perhaps not the last bit).

No idea what he was up to on Valentine's Day.  He may be one of these chaps who has several wives/girlfriends on the go at any one time.  Never did like him, though - far too smarmy, I thought.

Yes....I thnk he might ....although I still thnk it will hit the fan ....especially if Jess tells Jenifer...who will feel duty bound to tell Pat Or alternatively Helen will believe Jess and either go running home ...or perhaps to Peggy Rob's a wrong 'un IMO ....probably got women stashed all over the place ....mind you , Helen deserves all she gets ....about time she stood on her own two feet at her age !

I think we will all remember where we were when we heard the discussion between Helen and Jess. In Whitby a group of ex-pirates huddled around the electric wireless to listen to the back end of the omnibus. The ladies present seemed to think that Helen had brought it on herself and that her paramour was a bit of a shit. I commented that it's sometimes a difficult balencto keep your wife and mistress

I think that Rob is just another chap who likes the thrill of the chase (together with the cheating and getting away with it aspect).  Now that he's got Helen and Henry under his roof he'll cool off rapidly.

Would feel sorry for anyone else but Helen and I think they deserve each other (both rather annoying people) and agree with Slimfern that she'll put up with his shenanigans rather than admit she's made a mistake
