I find the whole programme aggressive and pointless ... but I shall be watching

I feel all they want to do is trip the candidates up.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

I was out for dinner tonight, just watched the show now.   Ricky is very articulate  when he's pitching, liking him more and more.

Jade did do well tonight, but the 'luxury' confectionery pricing was laughable.    Standard confectionery sells around 50% of retail to the wholesale trade .. they thought 60 - 70% was good at retail. Those chocs in the bag they sold for ÂĢ2.99 should have been ÂĢ4.99 at least in a luxury shop - they'd get that for them in BhS, never mind a bespoke store.

Adam was totally out of his depth, and I think 'Sweet Thing' was all a bit naff.   Karren was right too - the boys totally sidelined Jade 'run along and make some chocolates while we do the important stuff' was basically what they said.

The BBC website.

"Lord Sugar decides the winner on the basis of the final task, the boardroom, and their overall performance throughout the series. He makes his decision on the day of the final boardroom meeting. As there is a gap between the shoot and transmission (to leave time for editing), measures are taken to ensure that the outcome is kept a secret for viewers prior to transmission. Two endings are filmed in order to ensure that the winner is not revealed in advance. Lord Sugar does not tell the production team and the finalists about the identity of his Apprentice until the day before the transmission of the final programme."

Yeah, I've liked Nick from early on but I kinda changed my mind last night too. Tbh, I was sorry to see Adam go. I didn't like Adam at all early on but he grew on me over the weeks. I definitely think it was his time to go, he seemed as if he was out of his depth, shame though. Now I am rooting for Ricky to win

I still have a hunch Tom will be this yrs winner ..... we shall see ........

Well played, Baz!     I'm with Kat - it's been the most disappointing series ever.  I've not even bothered watching the additional 'Final Five' of 'Why I fired them' programmes.   I want Ricky to win - but it'll come down to the business plans I think.    I think the programme worked better before they brought the 'partnership' thing in - it ws better when the prize was a job with him - wish they'd go back to that.  This is more like Dragon's Den - and it's a worse programme because of it imo.

Agreed. It hasn't enthralled me at all this series but like Baz - I'm backing Ricky.

My feeling is it could be Tom or Nick winning tonight.

This has been the weakest series to date. I hope that next time there will be less of the 'point and laugh' cringeworthy episodes. Better candidates for 2013 hopefully.

My thoughts entirely Katerina, not really bothered who wins, but would rather it wasn't Jade or Ricky, (know that makes me in a minority on here)
