I can't have sugar free ....they upset my tummy ...
I can't have them because Aspartame is a killer for Crohnies
it should be banned as a known carcinogen...it is in many countries, makes me that it's in so many food stuffs and drinks
Its not a known carcinogen its the most tested product on the planet with yet no conclusive proof it however has worse effects than that
I've seen evidence to the contrary.....it is argued about....when in doubt leave it out is my motto

I don't know, I haven't been warned off it.
It's all natural....no calories.....I use it in cooking and in tea etc....might be an idea to find out if it's safe for you xx

We have had a discussion about Stevia on here before. It is completely natural as Kaytee says and I saw a Channel 4 programme where the presenter watched the process then tried the end product. She licked her finger and dipped it into the Stevia, looked at the owner of the farm and said "Is that enough?" his eyes widened and said "yes" more than enough. She sucked her finger and her eyes nearly fell out. It's so much sweeter than sugar apparently so you don't need as much. I'm not sure if they 'cut it' here to reduce the sweetness - maybe Kaytee can shed some light.

We got some samples of salted fudge at work (as in 'salted caramel' which I love) I had huge rocks of sea salt in it... absolutely revolting.
