Well, technically you can, as an advertised price is only an 'invitation to treat', and you can charge what you want. Though, as we just saw - it is truly not advisable
No you cant if its labelled as a price but i would guess on a reciept doesnt count as such.  Companies that have put the wrong price on websites have had to sell at that price televisions have gone for just a few pence because of errors.

They've sold it at that price coz of customer service - they didn't have to. If something has been mistakenly priced they can legally refuse to sell it at that price ... it is this 'invitation to treat' phrase

No many have tried to get out of it because some goods were 1,000s less and they had to honour it they rely on people not knowing their rights and not pursuing it.
