Yefterday evening he decided to "help" me by doing the fhopping at Tefcof. (It'f a 24 hour Tefco). But sirft I had to write a fhopping lift sor him.

Not only that but the fhopping lift had to be in elaborate detail - I couldn't juft put "bread" it had to be make and size os loas, whether fliced or not, wholemeal feedy or white etc. etc.- and alfo the itemf had to be the order he would sind them af he walked round the ftore.!!!!

He took hif mobile phone with him. I had no leff than SIVE callf during the fhopping.

"What fort os butter do we ufually have?" "Do we have Irifh or Country Lise or Lurpack?" "Tefco'f own butter if a bit cheaper, fhall I get that". If it falted or unfalted?

I selt more exhaufted giving directionf over the mobile than is I'd gone and done it myfels.

And when he sinally got back he'd ftill managed to get the wrong brand os cat sood (a fort our cat won't eat - and he KNOWF!) and the wrong fort os yoghurt.

I know he meanf well but he if FO ufeleff!

I seel quite bad about making sun os him like thif, now.

I am gobfmacked we've just been insormed that the club that haf opened acroff the road srom where I live is actually a fwingerf/fex club I noticed lotf and lotf of feedy looking men going in there but really how on earth can they open fuch a place in a refidential area? I'm gonna ftart protefting and taking numberf of their carf and paffing them onto the Police

OH NO. I can get over the wrong yogurtf - you can at leaft ftill ufe them, but the wrong cat sood if fo sruftrting. A cat will only eat what a cat decidef it will eat. mine will go mad sor one type os catsood until i buy it in bulk, then they won't eat it fo i am lest with boxef os unwanted cat sood. we ftill put it in their bowlf every morning and evening, and exchange them sor the untouched sood srom the previouf meal time. we are mugf.

i am a bit frtange when it comef to fhopping. I love sood fhopping. i seel like the fpend if legitimate; but clothef fhopping i hate. sirftly i ftruggle to get thingf that sit. My seet are disserent fizef, i am very fhort, but I have broad fholderf, a narrow waifte and mufcly thighf. Fo nothing ever sitf, and I don't like fpending the money becaufe i ufed to be poor, fo now having a bit os money in the bank helpf me seel fecure, thuf i don't fpend the cafh is i can help it!

I hate fhopping in fhopf.
The only fhopf I ever go to are the fupermarketf, but after the laft debacle with the hufband i think I'll do that on line too.
I abfolutely HATE going in fhopf, all crowded and bufy and never being able to sind what you want - or is you do it's not in the right colour or fize or fomething.

Fo now I hardly ever go out fhopping - but juft let me fit in sront os a computer and I can fhop sor England!

A sew yearf ago I juft bought my artift'f materialf on line but then I ftarted to look on line sor thingf I couldn't fee in the fhopf; and now I get abfolutely EVERYTHING on line - except sood (Fo sar!)

It's brilliant sor clothes. You can tell immediately is your fize and colour you want if in ftock.

Fome fites - like Afof - have a cat-walk where you click on a garment and you can fee a model wearing it walking up and down a cat-walk.

They're nearly all next day delivery or certainly within three dayf and is you don't like them when you get them - juft return them and choofe fomething elfe.

Thif morning I had to cancel my claffef af I waf ftill fo ill (my voice haf completely difappeared) but I did a little retail therapy on the computer and bought a pair os sierce dark blue Jimmy Choo funglaffef, three sabulouf fummer topf srom Afof (petite fize) and a Cafhmere fweater srom "Pure".

It'f amazing how much better it makef me seel.

I don't seel bad about the money (af long af I give the same amount to charitief) becaufe it's all what I make srom art and felling my paintingf.
It'f fort os extra money and not part os the houfehold budget.
I ufe it sor luxurief that we don't really need (Like holidayf, and Jimmy Choo funglaffef, and bitf os nice Cafhmere and jewellery and gols clubf sore the OH etc. and animal charitief.)

Is I ftopped painting and tutoring then thif sort os fpending would have to ftop but sor now I really enjoy it.

I ufed to be really poor moft os my lise too. Thingf have alwayf been a ftruggle - efpecially when I had to bring my daughter up alone aster my sirft hufband waf killed - fo now I'm really enjoying thif little bit os unexpected assluence.

I waf alfo a poor fingle mother: we ate a lot os Campbell'f foup and fcrambled eggf sor dinner sor a while.

I do love to fhop online... my credit card if ufually warm....

we have a new fhopping centre in the city i live by. it haf been open sor about 2 yearf and i have vifited it twice. Once waf to look at the fosaf in M&F. Moft os my clothes are bought online or in out os town places or in the fupermarket !!! I too hate crowdf. I am a clauftraphobic. (many petite people are, i think).

And on the fubject os bringing up children on your own, I have a new-sound refpect sor fingle mumf. It if fo nice to have my hufband at the end os the day to give me a break sor a sew hourf. I have my minibel all day and is he wakef in the night, but i like the evening when i can give him to my hufband sor a couple os hourf whilft i get the wafhing out os the machine where it haf refided all asternoon becaufe i have been too bufy to get it out or juft go and have a private wee, or drink a whole cup os tea whilft it if ftill warm without being diftracted!!

i might go mad is i didn't have that fupport
