One of the England's ancient laws which still exists has just been enforced on Friday. It is a legal requirement for all men over the age of 14 to practive their longbows (not the cider ) for 2 hours each weekend under the supervision of the local clergy. A vicar in Wiltshire enforced this law on her local parishioners. See BBC article.

As a reward, the parishioners also had a bar, barbeque and live music.
