I think that song may be the only one I've posted that I have in my record collection.

I tend to prefer their earlier stuff.  I liked that song at the time, but they definately got worse after that and got a bit preachy and pompous when they were trying to be U2.

I used to love that band till they decided they were 'soul' complete with a token female backing vocalist. Ugh, how the mighty fall.

I'm with you on that one.  Ultravox when they decided that they needed to get female backing, probably circa 1986 - when such things were obligatory, along with sax solos - was even more painfully tragic and unlistenable.

Not as big a mistake as taking on a moustachioed twat as lead vocalist who then proceeded to bore the world to death. Vienna anyone?

I liked that record!

So did I Carnelian. It saved my sanity during a bad period - "it means nothing to me" -

Too right Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing!  What's not to like?  Orchestral yet synthetic, arty, pretentious, moody, monochrome sequences, Midge with his dapper moustache and raincoat, a letterbox cropped video reminiscent of "The Third Man" - lovely!

I'll be there for you is a bit of a weepy for me. My OH sings it when I'm down. I love Never Say Goodbye though. I'm going to see Bon Jovi in June.....I can't wait
