Ooooo! I like them, but don't think I've heard the two Jovi tracks. *Goes to the Tube*
This is from the 80's and is real fist clenching (sorry guys but at least you can see what it is)
I was in love with Rick Astley
Black Box remind me of being underage in the clubs in Glasgow All I need now is some Roachford and I'm set for the night
I actually screamed a wee bit there

I should have said, it's "Let Yourself Go" by 808 State, "Voodoo Ray" by A Guy Called Gerald and "True Faith" by New Order.
thanks Pete
I was in love with Rick Astley
maybe you were but do you like that song or does it make you feel something else.
Used to love this 808 state one - although it's not technically 80s...
Sooooo cheesy, but can someone post either one or two vids for me please?
WASP....Hold on to my heart
WASP....Wild Child
I actually screamed a wee bit there
LOL!! I have to admit I like it too
Clumsycat - did you just say that was THE best Bon Jovi song EVER? Nobody ever agrees with me on that. They go for the popular songs. I love it
EEK!! I love this!! My ring tone!
Sooooo cheesy, but can someone post either one or two vids for me please?
WASP....Hold on to my heart
WASP....Wild Child
OMG yeah please. I love W.A.S.P
Everyone else I know thinks it's thrash metal but it's not.....really
i love that song though carnelian
I think that song may be the only one I've posted that I have in my record collection.
I tend to prefer their earlier stuff. I liked that song at the time, but they definately got worse after that and got a bit preachy and pompous when they were trying to be U2.
I used to love that band till they decided they were 'soul' complete with a token female backing vocalist. Ugh, how the mighty fall.
I'm with you on that one. Ultravox when they decided that they needed to get female backing, probably circa 1986 - when such things were obligatory, along with sax solos - was even more painfully tragic and unlistenable.
Not as big a mistake as taking on a moustachioed twat as lead vocalist who then proceeded to bore the world to death. Vienna anyone?
I liked that record!
So did I Carnelian. It saved my sanity during a bad period - "it means nothing to me" -
Too right Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing! What's not to like? Orchestral yet synthetic, arty, pretentious, moody, monochrome sequences, Midge with his dapper moustache and raincoat, a letterbox cropped video reminiscent of "The Third Man" - lovely!
Thanks Justa *Clicks*
are you celebrating carnelian
now this is a classic aussie song
the videos good to the new order song Pete

808 State with MC Tunes if I recall, not really in keeping with this thread on account that it is actually pleasant to listen to!
I prefer this one.
tunes splits the atom
Never been a fan of Bon Jovi but my friend has been dedicated since the early 80s - used to follow them all over the world, literally.
She's married with three kids but is still in love with Jon
the videos good to the new order song Pete
That's my favourite video of theirs and the song makes me go "awww"

I kinda like Dirty Little Secret and Unbreakable
To me a good fist clencher has to have a good slow start and then a build up to a good chorus followed by a tremendous guitar solo, a crescendo leading to a climax Even if it's not a song you don't normally like you'll get up there and grab your mates, tell them you love them and sing your heart out

I'll be there for you is a bit of a weepy for me. My OH sings it when I'm down. I love Never Say Goodbye though. I'm going to see Bon Jovi in June.....I can't wait
