Oh dear god.......a who's the best Star Trek captain argument?
That's worse than who's the best HM!
*runs for cover*

The guy who played Benjamin Sisko the captain could not act for toffee.
I couldn't even remember his name (Sisko) just then when I was replying to your first DS9 post! He was crap.Picard - sometimes I love him.... but he is a bit up himself sometimes. But probably is the best Captain.
I like a lot of the Voyager storylines best though (though Janeway gets on my norks sometimes too)...
I think my fave character has got to be the borg queen ... and Seven's breasts (I have to acknowledge Seven's breasts... hubby insists they get the respect they deserve whenever Voyager is discussed! )

BUT there is usually a universal agreement that Sisko was the worst.... that unites us.
Its the old school KIrk lovers that get most upset in this debate
I like and dislike Sam in equal measures.
I like him for being a viewer and mixing it up the way we all want to when we watch at home
I dislike him for actually being like that in real life
I know,, I'm all mixed up!

The trouble with Voyager is that they all got a bit intense,BUT I loved the doctor..
"please state the nature of your medical emergency.."
Oh and Worf cracked me up - he used to get so indignant over everything.

A bit like Dave then? Reference:
Oh and Worf cracked me up
Crappest head of security ever!!I reckon I could beat up Worf!
& yeah.. the doctor was funny... I quite liked the Paris/Torres relationship as well

Yes.... Dave is the evil twin of Sisko (Sisko is not evil.... just very wet, weak & a crap actor)
LOL at this thread...obviously Sam is appealing to the geek population of the forum.
oh and the answer is Picard
oh and the answer is Picard

I want Sam to win and I'm not a geek. I'm one of those amazingly cool and trendy types, honest Reference:

I would just like to point out in a non geeky way that Captain Kirk was by far the best Star Trek captain. It's just something I heard, I would never watch it, I'm far too cool

It's true! My sister was with this bloke once, he was truly a geek and his name was Trevor. He will now be forever known as "Good in bed Trev"
ooooh... old school Kirkie alert

Patrick Stewart -Jean Luc Picard., The BEST captain IMO.

As for Captains - I'm with Weird Al Jankovich - The only Question I've found hard, is do I like Kirk or do I like Picard? Think Picard just edges it

yeah.... he was as well... and ooooh yeah! now you have said that I won't be able to look past the similarities.
I loved the original star trek... but I was just a kid when they were first on... and at the beginning & end credits they had the picture of the people with big heads.... and they used to scare the bejesus out of me... I used to hide behind the sofa
