drizzling here,we have had a lot of hot and humid so I dont mind

It's really hot and sunny here in Essex.  We've had no rain for several weeks and the forecast for the coming week is much the same.

dunno what it is here but ive been out and sweated around to sainsburys , i was tempted to  lurk far longer than necessary in the chill section, resulting in a purchase of  several packs of yogurt and coleslaw i dont really want.

Here in South Yorkshire we have cloud, but punctuated with bright spells of sunshine. It's quite hot, but there is a nice breeze blowing through my flat at the moment. I wish we could have a short spell of rain, just to knock the edge off the heat and water the grass and plants.

I'm in Essex, and it's ridiculous...I went to sleep and it was ok, I've woken up and can hardly breathe with the heat, it's horrid.

It's baking, but I love it. My kids look like they could sleep for a week 

It's stifling here.....30 degrees in my garage,which is where I go to smoke..there is quite a strong breeze but it is so hot it feels like a hairdryer...Roll on winter...

Plus my two little dogs hate it.....they are going to have their hair cut tomorrow so hopefully that will make them a bit more comfortable.

Of course - can't you see me in your garden.

I think I caught a glimpse of you El Loro (a quick flash of blue and red) but oh boy you were travelling!

I feels even hotter now that it did earlier...thankfully me and the dog have been for a dip to cool off.

I got my new proper professional dog clippers a fortnight ago... and gave my dog, and my parents dog an extreme clippering (ok.. so my parents dog may have had a patch of over extreme clippering.... I was getting used to using the new gadget... and he moved...  it'll grow back)..

but I am so glad I did it... both dogs are coping with this heat now...  

and... they both have tiger stripes (bizarre... underneath all the hair they are stripy! )

My cairnX does too.....he looks like a tabby cat when he has been cut.

I'm in sarf London and I think it's been a perfect day.  I've spent the afternoon working in the garden under a nice big tree with my lappy, with a big glass of Pimms.  I love not having to wear loads of layers and not shivering.  I hope the heatwave continues
