what did Cairon tell sree? (I probably saw it but have memory problems)

Sorry just saw this.

I can not quote him word for word, in his own way Cairon told Sree he was nothing compared to Freddie. He really rubbished Sree using Freddie’s education and standing. You should have seen Sree’s face he was like a wounded Bull. Laugh

Thanks Blue Diamond. I remember it now.

A bit off topic, I used to drink at a club called The Blue Diamond!

Short & sweet I hope.

Both my boy’s are dyslexic & have ADHD
My oldest 28 left school at 16 with abysmal exam results, he was a little sod as a child, I couldn’t take him anywhere. ADHD wasn’t really known then, we and his school just thought he was lost cause. He joined the army at 16yrs 6months, spent 8 years there, towards the last part of his army career he had a thirst for knowledge and started an Open University course. He left the army and went to Bangor University, who diagnosed his ADHD and dyslexia at age 24, he graduated last year with a BSC Psychology with Clinical Psychology, he then started his master’s, he doesn’t get his results until September but apparently will pass with a distinction. He found out last week he will start a 4 year PHD studentship with pay October 2009.

Youngest aged 18 will be 19 31/07/09 diagnosed with ADHD aged 7 put on Ritolin and developed Tourettes, I took him off it and changed his diet. He left school again with atrocious grades, thought he wanted to a chef & spent 2 years at college, then decided cooking weren’t for him but still passed, took another course in Media studies, passed all exams with 3 distinctions and a merit + another distinction & merit in story writing. He will be starting a Drama course September on level 3. He is also entertainments officer for the Student Union.

We are very proud of both my apparently thick boy's.

Excuse me butting my nose in this thread but that was wonderful to read about your sons.
I was never diagnosed with any thing as a kid just told by all I was thick, "this is the funny one".. stuff like that but then got to Uni in 40's as some what mature student. I was not able to finish as got diagnosed with M.E but my point is I, like your son's and so many people out there that did not fit in the box as it were, when at school, get dismissed as thick or what ever; yet if there were more talented teachers about this would be less likey to happen! Thank you for writing about your son's, I found it inspirational, you must be so so proud of them both.. Thumbs Up

What I am about to tell you is the God's honest truth, I was standing at a bus stop with my eldest, he was about 9 years old, I was pregnant with my youngest, as the bus drew up I was half an inch from pushing him under it. He was such hard work. I've never forgotten it.

Your thread 'touched' me Valentine So I came back (backward flounce styley! )

There are comments on the YouTube site where a number of angry students are asking that same question. Many of them have doubts that his election was legitimate and above board.

Sree’s life long achievements

1) He was accepted by Hertfordshire University (best university in the world)
2) He was selected by thousands to be the president of his University
3) His name will be up there with greats of Herts Uni
4) Was selected for Big Brother

Don’t think he is aware of his you tube appearance or that would have been up there too. Big Grin

He can’t wait to come back in ten years time with his kids to show them his achievements. Nod

Did anyone hear Freddie and Sree talking last night?

At one point Sree talked about what he knew about Freddie, which included Freddie going to Oxford and being a "Dyslexia student".

It was a perfectly civilised conversation and obvious that Sree did not mean it as an insult. I think this is another example of Sree's English being completely misunderstood! Glance

But it wasn't a dig. It was actually the opposite!

Telling Freddie that he may be the 'Dyslexia student from Oxford', but that he was no better than Sree. He then went on to the maths question,in order to show that he was better at maths than Freddie!

I was so angry watching Sree last night, he could easily have used half of the garlic and as Freddie said , it was HIS garlic that he uses to make humous, to run around and get everyone involved and turn it into abuse was horrible, using Freddies dyslexia for a cheap jibe was not on. If Sree gets something from the shopping for himself Freddie should take it, see how he likes it gggrrr. As for the others if it was a can of cider that was the issue all hell wouldve broken out
