Big Boredom

Reading back through your posts it would seem that the Four Housemates of the Apocalypse will in fact not be going anywhere now.

Every year Channel 5 try their hardest to disenfranchise their viewing public by messing with the format in one way or another.

Big Brother surely was about isolation from the outside world, the interaction of the individuals within the house and the tasks they were given. Then throughout the process people would be nominated by their peers and ultimately faced the public vote.

What we have now is ex-housemates coming into the house (who will have amassed some knowledge of the individuals) and given too many powers, allowed to influence other housemates with knowledge they gained and are the arbiters of who is up for eviction.

For me when Hell-on was announced I could not bring myself to watch. I find her one of THE most loathsome individuals I have ever seen on Big Brother. She seems to think that she can on one hand bitch and complain and be nasty toward others but is then mortified that others would do it back to her. I would love to have been at the meeting where they decided Hell-on was a good choice to re-enter the house. I would have called each and every one of them imbeciles to their faces.

I keep trying year after year to watch the "civvie" Big Brother (I long since gave up on the z-elebrity version). But they either stock it with "trainee-celebrities" or super-bores and nasties.

I long for the days when we had 'normal' people in the house, less influence and interaction from outside and being able to watch them live into the early hours.

It's looking more and more like this year is another writeoff. If the 4HM'sotA don't leave and nominations are put back into the hands of the HM's then see you all next year.

Given my rant above, it feels like I won't be going back anytime soon. Are they staying for another week? How much left of the show is there? Why is my post sounding like the end of an episode of Soap?

Isn't it exhilarating, Baz? The BB attraction is no longer there. It's like a pleasant gust of wind shooting up your shorts.  

Let's just say I've definitely not missed it this week Rawky ....but I don't think I'm cured just yet  

 We are detoxing, but it's an ongoing struggle.
