Yes, we have tv's in the bedrooms 'cos I didn't like having to share the remote  

So, whenever one of the kids started moaning I'd tell 'em to scarper and I'd watch what I wanted, when I wanted and on MY own tv.

Now they've all left home I'm up to my eyes in spare tellys 

used to but now have one in spare bedroom where I am ,son's bedroom ,kitchen lounge and  little extension

PMSL! Cosmo! 

I love my bedroom TV, it's all mine (usually).  

I have sky plus in the bedroom too.  Mr C was in big trouble this morning when I woke up and found not only had he set the downstairs box, but also the bedroom box to record the friggin Grand Prix.  Which meant that it clashed with what I was recording upstairs and Homeland didn't record.

That a heinous crime Cinds and I wouldn't let him get away with it 

Oooo, I like the Grand Prix, but that's out of order 

a woman is entitled to watch what she wants in her own kitchen at least  

I may get a second V+ box in the bedroom so I can lie in bed and watch the wintersport on a Saturday morning

I'll get him back, don't you worry. 

I'll wait until BB is on again and make sure it clashes with the crap he records.

Nothing nicer than a wigwam day in bed complete with total control over the telly viewing.

exactly Cosi, I was having a coffee at 6.30 this morning watching the Crime Channel and wonder why I can't sleep  

I tend to skulk under the duvet on a Saturday morning (dunno why 'cos I'm not a worker ), and I like a bucket sized cup of tea and a bit of Saturday Kitchen to watch from the comfort of my pit.  

I sit and look at all my cushions on the floor 

*mines in a cupboard*

I like Sunday mornings watching the Andrew Marr show and blaspheming at the TV 

Too much bliddy coffee in your system 

I can't watch telly in bed.   I'm like one of those baby dolls, if I lie down, my eyes close, and I can never get comfy to sit up and have tea in bed.    Maybe I need a new bed AND a telly.

Television in all the rooms apart from the kitchen/Loo.

I don't allow myself a TV in the bedroom otherwise I'd never get out of bed!  I'd watch daytime TV in there when the kids are school and the OH is at work, then I'd go to bed early to watch whatever crap I fancy

So no TV for me  both kids have TV's in theirs though and I used to have one in the kitchen until I got fed up with the OH turning into a games room. He'd take the xbox and laptop out and have himself a right wee lads night in by himself and leave a mess so the TV is gone now.

Never had one in the bedroom, I've always controlled the remote and if it clashes (and i don't mind) I'll go on my computer/phone for a few hours etc. Tbh I'm scared to have a tv in the bedroom as i really don't wanna disturb the little sleeping monsters

The only place we don't have a telly is the bathroom..we have 6 telly's  in our house..and next year there'll only be me and himself at home..

We have a tv in the living room and each of the bedrooms - even the spare room that nobody ever stays in.

I have a 32" flat panel, cos I like to watch a lot of film and it's pretty comfy in bed. But it's not connected to an aerial or any way that allows me to watch broadcast telly, I don't need the temptation to stay in bed. Just have a blu-ray and a Popcorn Hour media streamer attached.

I've never had a telly in the bedroom .............don't like breakfast in bed - my bed is for sleeping and the odd cuddle I was in hospital recently and watched a bit of telly in bed ..........very late at night when everyone else was asleep - didn't like it one bit.

I agree Sooz.  My Mum is the same, even if she's in bed sick for over a week she refuses to have a tv or laptop in to watch anything as she thinks it confuses the brain and it will have trouble connecting bedtime with sleep time then.  Sounds a bit nuts but I do agree with her.

i do love staying in hotels though, and watching TV in bed, but I'd hate the noise in my bedroom at home

Same here except for the cushions on the floor....

i had one when i was really young

only because my ma won it

nowhere else really to put it, so i had it in my room

the other kids called me a snob

I have sky multiroom in the bedroom and freeview in the other two bedrooms and freeview in the dining room cum study 

i also want to say that when i read the thread title i thought *The Beat* had finally done a follow up record
