I get along fine with mine, apart from when I get calls from people saying: "Hi, my name is [bleep], have you considered updating your phone, blahblahblah.."

Cheers for the link..I knew it existed but had forgotten the name of it so I've just signed up....
We don't have a landline. Don't need it. He has a mobile I have a mobile and we have an emergency only mobile(only close family have the number) in the house which is switched on all the time. Not a big talker, text loads though. My mates know I'm not a talker and know to text me and that'll respond when I feel like talking/texting.

I have a love hate relationship with my moby phone - I prefer texting to talking but I get really arsey if someone texts/calls during my favourite programmes my key with the (def) keeps sticking so most of my texts don't make sense these days
as for my land line - I joined the Telephone preference service which has stopped cold calls from the UK but it can't do anything about the ones that are being made from overseas i.e. Asian call centres and I've had a lot of them lately which really ticks me off
I usually leave the phone next to the telly and carry one with what I was doing and eventually they soon get fed up and hang up
