Earlier I wrote something on Word Pad that I'd planned to send someone, it took ages to write as it was about a very sensitve situation. Stupidly I never saved it, I really should know better by now from past experiences. Suddenly we had a power cut and I've lost it all just as I was happy with what I shared/wrote. I'm so frustrated right now. I've heard that nothing's really lost on a pc, is there anyway I can recover what I wrote.

It's pretty unlikely that Wordpad has a recovery feature although I could be wrong.
Just checked, it doesn't.
There's a chance if you open wordpad again it will tell you there is an unsaved document. I'm sure you've tried that already Failing that you would need to send it to a specialist who can retrieve the data from the hard drive. It's probably not worth it but if you can remember the first few parts of what you wrote you would be amazed at how quickly the rest of it will come back to you. I hope you get it sorted.
Thank you to those who've replied It's frustating to have heard so many times that nothing is ever really lost on a pc, but it seems only experts can find what they're looking for, I'm no expert lol.
Prometheus, I can remember most of what I wrote, if I'm meant to pass it on hopefully I'll remember the rest, if not meant to be hopefully I'll find another way of adding something else that helps. Thank you all
