Adobe - for one reason or another I've had to uninstall the version I had and re-install the new version. It's stopped on 84% d/load, and that was about half an hour ago. When I try to move away from the page to try again it's saying Adobe d/load manager is currently installing an application. Once installation is complete stop installing other applications? And the options are yes/no. Anyone got any ideas please?

Did I mention before that I thought is was "Abode"
Try killing the installation with Task manager.
Then remove it via add/remove programs if it is showing on there.
Then start again.

Terminate the download, if it's installing, you may have inadvertently started downloading the update again while the update is still being installed causing a conflict. Terminate the download would be my best advice.
