Exactly, I never heard any of them come forward and say anything about her behaviour. Although, sometimes the police employ these people behind the scenes.

Unbelievable eh? I didn't follow the case that closely - was she suspected of being involved before they found Shannon?

I think people believed her although most people close to her had their suspicions. It wasn't until they announced that Shannon had been found that she showed her true colours. It's coming up next. Smiler

Thanks - it seems obviously already from what we've seen. Those close must've thought it was strange to say the least. Like I say - I watched one of the fly on the wall things when she was missing thought they were a bit off - bit as I say, I questioned if I was being 'snooty' and doubting them because of their social status (for want of a better description)

I suppose they maybe can't say anything without evidence in case it affects the investigation.

I was watching the news when they told her, I could not quite believe her reaction! Red Face

I said at the time that it wasn't genuine and she was merely trying to jump on the Madeleine McCann bandwagon.

She'd seen how much money the Madeleine Fund was pulling in so thought she'd have some of the same!

I hope Shannon grows up in the midst of a loving, happy family from now on.

Absolutely! Her mother is just one of the most selfish people ever. Maybe it's a good thing it happened. Shannon has more opportunities now.

They are behind the scenes and relaying their findings to the police but the police have to be cautious in their ongoing interviews but usually manage to make the culprit break down eventually.
