I have a very small butterfly on left shoulder, which I love and have never regretted getting done.
But I'm sure not temopted to do a Lisa and get covered in them. Was that a rat on her thigh in last night's HLs?

Lady-Tatts look OK on the right woman. Someone who has been a little bit edgy and a bit out of the ordinary (biker chick/hippy-ish or a little bit unconventional) all their lives, looks OK with tatts, if they are done well, and some chix look quite fine with them.
But some women don't look so good. As someone said earlier, if it's just some middle aged woman who has decided a tattoo or two, would look great on her arm, and she has never been that way inclined, then it just makes her look a bit sad, like she is trying to be young or trying to be 'cool.' My second was done when I was 29, that is a dolphin on the back of my right shoulder, then about 9 months ago I had the matching tat done on the back of my left shoulder.
My daughter is 17 going on 18 and is about to start her piercing apprenticeship, she has 18 piercings at the moment and wants more. The only thing that I stipulated that she not get pierced is her face, but she does have one tiny nose stud.
I like her piercings and she thought about them before coming to me to ask if she could have them.

I'm sure they must look good to the person who has them - and that's what counts.
Used to work in a plastic surgery unit back in the day when they had to be removed with skin grafts, put me off for life!
Some women they look ok.

The problem with tatts is, no matter who did them, the ink eventually bleeds under the skin and spreads, so not even the best artists work will look as good as it did when it is first done.

LOL, she has 1 in her nose, 4 in her belly and the rest in her ears. Scaffolding is 2 holes in her ear with a bar between the 2, she has 3 other cartilage piercings, a tragus piercing (that is the little flappy bit a the front of her ear hole, the rest are just lobe piercings.
All of her piercings she has looked after and kept clean.
Personally I do not like them and def would not have one but each to their own. I think what you have to consider when getting a tattoo is that fashions come and go but a tattoo is permanent unless you can afford a lot of expensive lazer treatment to get rid of it so. Back in the day they were something different but now every body has them and they no longer have that appeal of yesteryear and the majority of them look very tacky.
