I don't think it's anything to do with class, brisket!

Ife is a competitive person and can't get her round Ben's refusal to put any effort into the tasks. I would think this is a tactical decision.

She said it because she thinks Ben will enjoy the task the most because he likes the idea of 'Cougar Women'. There was no malice behind it.

I got the impression they think the boys are going to be spoilt, massages,nice food,etc....she said that Ben would love it the most and think it should be fun for Andrew too!!! Josie said she will get JJ out...

But several times Ife has mocked and ridiculed Ben's voice putting words into his mouth which reflect their class difference.
When she did her nominations it was particularly noticeable.

It would be better if JJ was away from Josie for as long as possible so he can discover that he can exist without his mummy-figure.
Josie is just scared that the Uber-Cougar will seduce her little Aussie possum.

He did the stand up comedy task (the hardest task by a long way).  He helped Andrew last night in his cooking task.  He won points in the Game Show task by answering the most questions correctly.  He participated in the robot tasks and ended up being one of the few housemates to pass their section.

I think he refuses to do tasks when people piss him off.  Rather than throwing a hissy fit like JJ does when someone annoys him, Ben gets back at them in a different way.  When Ben said "let's see who gets the last laugh" when they were all picking on him a few weeks ago I think this is what he meant.  It's pretty effective.

Oh, he'll happily do tasks he approves of, but he's told them all that he won't put himself out to ensure they won't suffer.

Standing up telling terrible jokes, cookery advice and chopping a bit of hair, really doesn't convince me, tbh!

I agree with you Brisket.  I think she has got something against Ben and it is a class thing.  She took the rise out of his accent in the DR the other day (think when she nominated him) and mentioned something to do with him surveying his mansion or something like that.

How is that any worse than what the others have done in tasks?

It's snobbery pure and simple.  We had all this with Freddy with some people openly admitting they didn't like him because he was posh

I know Ify goes on about him not doing tasks and she definitely has a problem with his class too.

Can't say I blame him to be honest.  I you'd been singled out and treated like crap would you feel like a team member?  I know I wouldn't.  They are a bunch of arse holes.

Well if Ify did want to leave Ben to last (and i think she meant it badly) it has backfired on her

He's been picked first by Corin,well done to her in that task,she was chipping away at an ice statue for nearly an hour  to free a pair of boxer shorts frozen inside it, using  a brush,comb etc.
