POLL ALERT! Help shape the conclusion of The Power of Money

The Power of Money task will come to a dramatic conclusion today and it will boil down to one housemate making judgements on the rest of the House.

That's where you come in. We want to know which housemate you think is the best judge of character. Whoever you pick will be the one responsible for this epic role.

Head to the polls section of the Big Brother app to have your say. Don't have the app? Just head to the App Store and search 'Big Brother'.

Big Brother has just confirmed the latest details about today’s prize money task.

After yesterday’s shenanigans, the group have added £10,500 to this year’s prize pot.

In today’s task Mark will be given the chance to add some money to the prize fund by tapping into his psychic abilities and putting them to use.

Mark will enter the Small Task Room where there will be a blue food bowl and a pink food bowl. He will be told that a meerkat will shortly enter the Small Task Room.

Mark must use both his psychic abilities and powers of persuasion to predict which food bowl Steve the meerkat will run to. If Mark’s prediction is correct, he will add £1500 to the prize fund.

Later on, a large vault structure is set in the House. The numbers usually found on the front of a vault have been replaced with empty spaces for faces.

During this game, one bitchy quote will be revealed at a time by Big Brother. It is up to the Housemates to guess who said these things. When the Housemates have an answer for the quote, they put the answer’s face in the first gap on the vault.

Once all the quotes have a face allocated to them on the vault, the Housemates will be left with a code which will hopefully unlock the vault, winning the £5,000 within towards the prize fund. If the code is incorrect, Housemates will have three attempts to try and get the correct code.

The final task of the day, which BB has called the ‘Final Dilemma’ is being kept secret, for now…

I'd pick Winston. .I think he is pretty astute from the task last week which I've completely forgotten what it was but I recall he did well in it and had peoples personalities down to a tee..

Chris I'd chose second but I think he's actually lost the plot a lot form when he was a pretty canny Power HM..

Yeah, good call Olly.   Winston was astute as the inspector too - he doesn't miss a trick.

But he's not going to tell them anything that can cause upset.

Winston will not want to put his head above the parapet, he's got this far by not doing it .

The Power of Money twist will end this afternoon with a dramatic twist.

And us viewers are involved.

A poll is currently online on the Big Brother app for the public to vote for ‘which Housemate is the best judge of character’.

Once the poll results are in, each Housemate will then be called to the Diary Room where Big Brother will give them a dilemma: Do you want to take the extra money the House has accumulated for themselves or leave the extra money accumulated for the prize fund.

But this is just a ‘fake’ question – whatever they answer, nothing will happen to the extra prize money.

Instead, the last Housemate called to the Diary Room will be the Housemate that the public voted the best judge of character.

This Housemate will be then told that each of the Housemates have been posed the dilemma above. In order to secure the full £25,000 for the prize fund that Housemate must correctly guess which of their housemates decided to take the money for themselves.

If this Housemate is accurate in their predictions, then the prize fund will increase to £125,000.

If they are incorrect the prize fund will remain at £100,000 and the money they’ve accumulated over the past two days will be lost.

Chris R Wright and Pav Paul both look to be in danger in this week’s latest Big Brother 2014 eviction.

Chris, Christopher, Mark, Pav and Winston all face the axe on Friday night and it’s a double eviction.

The first evictee looks almost certain to be Mark: The tables have seriously turned on the former favourite, as the scouser now finds himself the 2/7 favourite to be evicted with bookies Paddy Power.

After receiving a nomination from every housemate it’s no surprise that Pav finds himself second favourite to go at odds of 3/1 but Chris is next in the line-up.

Christopher is given an unlikely 10/1 to get the boot and it’s little surprise to hear that Winston is looking in no danger at odds of 25/1 to go.

It’s a similar story in our latest eviction poll with Mark the runaway favourite to go first but just 4% split Pav and Chris as it stands.

With the BBUK final date now confirmed for next Friday (August 15), Ashleigh has strengthened place as the favourite to win at 5/4, with Winston snapping on her heels at 15/8.

Helen has seen her odds of winning shorten considerably since entering the house and is now at 18/1 to take the BB crown, putting her ahead of Ash at 25/1 and previous favourite Mark who’s now out at 33/1.

A spokesperson for Paddy Power said, “Golden boy Mark has really lost his shine with the public this week. If the diva dramas don’t stop soon he better start packing his bags.”

It’s all kicked off in the Big Brother 2014 house tonight following a new prize fund twist.

Earlier tonight Ashleigh Coyle faced a tough twist that also involved the other housemates.

As part of the task, it was revealed which of the housemates had secretly decided to take the extra £15,500 in prize money the group had won over the past two days. This turned out to be just a lie from Big Brother but the housemates believed that they would actually be getting the money.

Chris, Mark and Ash had all said they would take the extra cash for themselves.

Although they each had very different explanations for why they had broken the group’s earlier ‘pact’.

Helen Wood moaned at Chris: “We made a group decision, you can’t pull out of it. You made a f**king pact.”

Meanwhile, Mark claimed that he had chosen to break the pact in order to make sure that the money really was split.

He explained his somewhat dubious reasoning: “I trusted that pact until today when we were having a conversation and I thought ‘I don’t think everybody would f**king split it’.

“I know I would, I know some other people would, but I wouldn’t guarantee on everybody so if I’ve got control of it, I’ve got guarantee I’m going to split it.”

Elsewhere, Mark Byron and Christopher Hall had an argument within an argument as they clashed over how each other was rowing.

“Who the hell are you to do that to me?” Christopher complained about Mark pointing his finger at him.

“I’m making a f**king point,” Mark hit back, “Don’t jump down my f**king neck.”

In amongst it all, Ashleigh emerged to the Diary Room to sympathy from Helen who told her: “You were never going to get three people.”

There were rows aplenty in the Big Brother 2014 house tonight after some stirring and a final prize fund twist.

Over the past few days housemates have been given several tasks to win up to £25,000 extra towards this year’s prize pot.

By the end of today they had won a total of £15,500.

However these tasks were all FAKE.

The only task that counted was this evening’s last one which saw Ashleigh Coyle take charge after being named the by the public as the best judge of character in a poll on the BB app.

Earlier, each Housemate was called to the Diary Room and given a dilemma: Do you want to take the extra money the House has accumulated for themselves or leave the extra money accumulated for the prize fund.

Big Brother Summer 2014

Ashleigh was the last to be called to the Diary Room and her chat was shown on the plasma as the real prize fund task was revealed.

She was told that each of the Housemates had been posed the dilemma above. In order to secure the full £25,000 for the prize fund she had to guess which of their housemates decided to take the money.

Big Brother told Ashleigh that three housemates had chosen to take the money and she guessed Chris, Pav and Ash.

She was pretty close but in fact, it was Ash, Chris and Mark.

As a result, not only did the group not win the full £25,000 but their £15,500 has also been lost, leaving the prize fund back at £100,000.

But the task and dilemma revelations caused arguments in the main house, with Chris and Helen snapping at one another.

“What a crock of s**t” Helen barked at Chris in a clash over the earlier ‘prize fund pact’ as he hit back with: “F**k you… so rude.”

And Mark and Christopher also clashed when Mark told Christopher to “shut up”.

“Don’t tell me to shut up ever again, shut up yourself!” Christopher replied.

Ash and Mark are saying the reason is that they didn't trust whoever would win to split the money but they knew that they would split the money so that is why they wanted to take control of it... my arse.

Chris gets all the blame, the guy they put up for nomination for 10k to be added to the pot, then they screamed with delight
