Day 50: 48-hour party people
While the housemates slept, Big Brother elves were laying the ground-work for a TWO DAY PARTY, DUDE. No, your monitor isn’t on the blip, this week’s shopping task is 48 hours worth of partying and to get everyone in the mood, said elves festooned the House with balloons, streamers and, in the garden a bouncy castle. Boing-boing.
To pass this week’s shopping task, select housemates must rock up to an extraordinary range of parties and take part in all Big Brother’s games. They must also eat all the food laid on at the occasions so as “not to offend their hosts”.
Most housemates were thrilled with this announcement, that came in the form of a giant yellow invitation, read out by Becky in a sing-song storyteller voice, but Deana darkly prophesised that the task would be “bittersweet”. Perhaps it’s the prospect of mandatory eating that is weighing on the mind of weight-conscious Miss India UK.
One thing’s for sure, there’s no space for party poopers. Coming up later today, you can expect:
Children’s Party
Slumber Party
Dinner Party
Party Animals' All Nighter
Trigger New Year's Eve Party
First up on the party roll-call is – aw, bless – a children’s party. Stay tuned to discover whether our housemates play nicely..
