Woohoo!
We get to see the tory cnuts f*ck it up

Definitely not! Memo to Labour Party........ 1. Let it go and give us amateur satirists a bit of fun. 2. Move on, we haven't had the chance to take the micky out of the Tories for years. 3. Get over it. 4. Re-group. 5. Later on in the year we can smash the Tories and their Liberal Democrat pals.

Reference: Baz dont you see the irony of the huge cuts we should expect and the raise in the inheritance tax Yes I do Lockes..... but firstly, I hope that with the Lib Dems on board that wouldn't happen.... and secondly I see the irony of saying that New Labour is a party of the poor, when they have actually widened the gap between rich and poor...... how does that work???
Well Baz I dont know how that works BUT I can only comment on my situ, along with my families who I know for certain are MUCH better of under the Labour Party, as compared to when we were living under a tory Government. The pensioners couldnt afford to heat their homes under the tories, and, correct me if I am wrong but didnt Thatcher tell them to go to bed in a hat and gloves to keep warm.

I believe that was Edwina Curry. Reference:

And I can only comment on my (as a pensioner)and my families situation Lockes But I do find it interesting that people keep on harking back to the Thatcher years.... which were 20 years ago, and forget that Thatcher only got in because Labour and the unions brought the whole country to it's knees in the 1970s, with three day weeks, and constant power cuts, etc......Reference:

I know many many pensioners who are really struggling at the moment to heat their homes after 13 years of Labour government.
So, what are you Tories hoping for, Con/Dem Nation, or just the big Con?

Exactly the pensioners get heating allowance now I wonder if the Tories will take that away from them, perhaps not this winter but would not count on them in the future, if anyone thinks the pensioners will be better under the Tories I hope they are right but will not hold my breath...Reference:

No... we've had 13 years of the big con Blizzie..... we are now hoping for a changeReference:

Well I can only speak for myself Blizzie, nice of you to ask , but I am hoping that the billions and billions that have been totally wasted can be vastly reduced and we can start to put the money where it belongs in front line services and not bloated administration. Bye bye ID Card Scheme, bye bye regional assemblies and hopefully most of the quangos too.Reference:

Sounds like a plan with merit!
Spider today I went to the dentist. Nothing unusual about that you say, I go for a checkup every 6 months. But I had to fill in another patient information sheet. I said I had only just done one but no now we have to do a new one every six months a requirement from the PCT. More tick boxes, more red tape. More common sense please.
Only a matter of time before a David Cameron is a w*nker thread pops up
Reference:
I think we should keep the thread going, as a place to come and sound of when the unemployment levels reach 5 million, and millions of people are thrown into poverty all in the name of the "economy".
Or who knows maybe it s a good soundboard for the richest 3,000 families to come and gloat over how the great Mr Cameron has given them an extra ÂĢ200,000 pound through the inheritance tax
Which of course includes Cameron, same old Tory agenda of the past of look after yourself first.Or who knows maybe it s a good soundboard for the richest 3,000 families to come and gloat over how the great Mr Cameron has given them an extra ÂĢ200,000 pound through the inheritance tax
If we do have, and it's still not certain, a coalition of the Tories and their fellow losers then I think that's it for the LibDems. Clegg has sacrificed his own party to satisfy his own ambition for power. This won't go down well in your average LibDem seat, or Redcar.
I think the Lib dems will pay heavily myself but thats just my opinion.
I feel the Lib/Dems have played it well.
Of course we don't know enough to judge fairly yet.
Naturally there will be some upset and angry people.
Change can be difficult and scary.
On the rumour and scanty evidence so far, I am reasonably ok about it.

Hardly Brisket! I remember a childhood poem along the lines of, ' "Come into my parlour!" said the spider to the fly.' I am so glad that Labour were too proud to beg. Let 'em get on with it.
Oh! I thought all 3 parties were negotiating.
(But then I can be naive.)

I think the reason for that is that Thatcher destroyed the fabric of this country. We don't have an industry anymore, which isn't just about jobs, but also about communities. She beleived in laissez faire, which might be a nice idea if you are a big business magnate, but it doesn't work for a 40 year old steelworker or miner who has never learnt anything else to do in his life. She let people buy their council house, but didn't build any new ones which has resulted in the homelessness we have now. She wasted Scottish oil on her English policies, she started a war when she thought it would be popular and keep her in. She said 'there's no such thing as society', well, we are still reaping the sour grapes from this lunatic, who announced the birth of her grandchild with 'we have become a grandmother'. The Queen hated her guts, just like I did.Reference:

Exactly, they didn't have to buy. A lot obviously managed to get on the housing ladder that way. Which almost no-one, especially the young, manage now.

Nope! Negotiations with labour are completed. Obviously too proud to beg.Reference:

That probably has a lot to to with the fact that you can buy a council house for a pittance and sell it after a very short time for 4 times the amount.Reference:

And why cant the young get on the property ladder.......erm due to housing shortage, its all about supply and demandReference:lal

Make up your mind you were just having a go at Margaret Thatcher for coming up with the scheme. Everyone could make up their own mind whether they wanted to take advantage of it.Reference:

So Margaret Thatcher invaded the Falklands now Laugh as you may Squiggle. There is nothing more embarrassing for us tribal Labour types than to see our party toadying to that lot in the hope of retaining a fragile short time in HMG.

I haven't got any examples to hand lockes, but it was well known at the time that the Queen thought old milk snatcher was too big for her boots.
Lal, I'm talking about the Falkland War.
