I loved the first few seasons of ANTM but it got a bit repetitive.  

'm about to watch Gypsy Weddings on +1 - I was watching Prisoners wives - I'm very selective with my TV viewing - pure class

TV has  been absolutely wonderful tonight. We have had: Dont tell the bride, followed by the biggest looser followed on plus 1 by my big fat gypsy wedding then shameless.  The ONLY thing i could ask for more would be a double episode of the hotel

The only one I watch is the X Factor. The rest of 'em you can take a walk down your local high street and see the same stuff, do some shopping, and call it multi-tasking.

Am I the only one who expresses surprise at people who have their tellybox on from morning to night? They may not even be watching it but it exists as some sort of background  noise.

I have mine on for that very reason. .am stuck in the house on my own day in day out and having the box on makes it feel like people are here with me even If I am not always watching... as does the background noise..  radio doesn't do the same cos I can't 'see' people..

ps I recommend Made in Chelsea as another guilty pleasure TV show. .tis TOWIE with but with nobs ..love it.. 

You aren't a saddo! On refelection I can't survive without background, but with me it's Radio 2     (Unless Steve Wright is on)

I prefer the wireless to the TV during the day.  Radio 4 mostly but my guilty pleasure, if I'm at home, is an hour or so with Ken Bruce

I only watch BB and there are long gaps in between. These shows sound great fun. I gotta get some more trash in my life!

Olly have you ever thought of applying for TV work? You could sum up programmes in a few words - a sort of precis/summary.

I love Made in Chelsea - never started watching any of the others like TOWIE.   I did try (mainly because Soozy said she'd got into it tbh) but I hated not knowing the characters or what was going on so I gave up again. 

Sorry Ells.    These kind of shows are shoite IMO.  I can't even watch more than a minute of these awful people.

I need the TV to have 'people' around and something to look at even if I am not looking all the time ..tend to half look half be on the puter.. then TV at night and puter off. .oh what an exciting life I lead

hahaha that short summary was an unusual occurrence for me. .usually I waffle til the cows come home

oh and if anybody wants real guilty pleasure viewing, that you wouldn't admit to in public, try The Real Housewives of  wherever series'   they are fab for plenty of pursing lips and tutting fodder..

I like a bit of 'shite entertainment', as well as the heavier stuff.

Something like BFGW can count as both, in my book. We are actually learning about different cultures, surely? Some may call me an Anthropologist Apologist! 

In fact, I'd say that I know a lot about different topics, by virtue of watching TV! 

In short, I like the high-brow and the brow-raising kind of shows.

Doesn't make you a saddo at all, Olly. It's better to have some background noise/company rather than having silence and maybe feeling miserable which is how silence makes me feel xx

yeah I know what you mean. .makes me antsy if I don't have something to stare at either ..even if I am not paying attention
