Oh the irony - Simon Cowell's company has signed Susan Boyle on SYCO records Laugh

THEN:

today we hear reports that the dear lady has been admitted to the priory

Running bonkers after leaving the stage shouting that she hated the show!

Screaming four letter abuse 15 minutes before going on and finally the police being called in to her SECOND hotel because staff reported that she was acting strangely

The police being called in - said it all!!!

They had to calm her down - not a doctor!

Flippin heck! Disappointed

Well they have reeped what they sowed - and perhaps this is why the poor woman hasn't made it before now

Oh but how lovely Simon Cowell (CEO OF THE SYCO Disappointed sorry SYCO) said that he will 'stand by her and will offer support

yeah right: wavey

Replies sorted oldest to newest

The poor woman lives a quiet life - bullied most of her days - caring for elderly parents and perhaps the most telling sign of madness - listening to Elaine Paige.... Disappointed

WHAT DID THEY EXPECT!!!!

I think you will find that old Simon & Co. discovered that they had created a star that 'doesn't travel well' Ninja and DIVERSITY
was born

Thus, unlining the fact that these things are NEVER judged by the public vote Shake Head

Yes dear dermie - but from a media monster point of view it's rather sad

They couldn't let Susan Boyle win - in case she was chosen to sing for the president and then attacked him with a spoon DisappointedMad Eeker

These types of shows have always exploited the mentally "delicate", as the auditions for X-Factor routinely show.
I've a feeling this time it might come back to bite them, however..

You might be right there, they didnt give her adequate help to deal with the pressure now she is just a boiling pot waiting to explode...

This was always going to happen. Anyone could clearly see the poor woman was cracking up....as for the Priory, well yes, that's the right place to send her isn't it? After all, the place has been SO good for people like Katona, Gascgoigne etc Disappointed

It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Susan Boyle's family/friends are now scrabbling around seeking legal action for damages. There's still money to be made here Roll Eyes

There you go....... Nod Clapping But you gotta wonder if they've been there for her all her life. Or only recently, at the slightest hint of money/fame...........
Hehe you aint lying about that suddenly one has so many friends and family after there are signs of ÂĢÂĢÂĢÂĢÂĢÂĢs...

i honestly feared that if she won (and i did want her to with flawless second) after her hip thing on the semis that she might have done something inappropriate at the royal variety performance, this was backed up by her chopping motion and leg display as well as the visible shaking when the winners were announced to have that then have reporters from the scum harrasing her before and after it really isnt surprising.

What "hip thing", BBBS?
I'm sure as hell no psychologist. But,
right from the start, it's been clear to me that this woman is unstable......learning difficulties + raging hormones + giddyness & euphoria at having more attention lavished on her in a few short weeks, than she's probably had in her entire life.

All this makes for a pretty explosive mixture Disappointed

But the production company should have spotted the potential problem........they chose instead to risk it, I guess. And now look what's happened Disappointed
