Sorry, not had it but these are the symptoms as listed by the NHS website...you or a member of your family has a fever or high temperature (over 38°C/100.4°F) and two or more of the following symptoms, you may have swine flu:

unusual tiredness,
headache,
runny nose,
sore throat,
shortness of breath or cough,
loss of appetite,
aching muscles,
diarrhoea or vomiting.

There's a nasty cold going round at the mo - could be that.

If you havenet got a temperature and dont feel like death you probably dont have it - hopefully!

I've not got a temperature,but I do feel shite!
Its the dizziness thats the main problem for me.

As you know I had it recently Mazz. Symptoms sound quite similar. Mine came on with no warning, felt fine going to work, by 9.30 I was sweating and dizzy, by 10.30 my head was on the desk and I went home. Temperature developed mid afternoon and was diagnosed at 6pm. For me, it wasn't like normal flu at all (flu symptoms came out about 3 days in), but it's like nothing Ive ever had before. You just feel completely wiped out, can barely move, dizziness, and generally feeling extremely shite.

Keep an eye on how you go, especially if your temperature goes up. And dont believe the 38 mark an above, I was diagnosed with a temp of 37 but that was cos of other symptoms. You need to get your Tamiflu within 48 hours otherwise it wont be effective.

Oh and you need a flu friend to go and get stuff for you cos you'll be quarantined for at least 5 days

It was the suddeness of it that struck me!One minute I felt absolutely fine,the next I felt like I'd taken 10mg of valium and washed it down with neat vodka(not that I know how it feels!).My throats feeling a bit tickly and my eyes are starting to feel gritty and tired.
I've just had a glass of water and 2 paracetamol,so its just a case of wait and see what develops.

The suddeness happened to me too. The temperature came a few hours later.

Seems to be what most people I've heard from have said..that the temperature comes on a little later.

Am off for a lie down now...I dont even fancy watching Jezza Kyle on ITV2!!!!
