1 delivery of aforementioned veg (^up there somewhere) and just Mr. C's prezzie to wrap.  Oh, and turkey etc to collect from butcher on Crimbo Eve, but I don't count that 'cos I don't have to go get it.

I have my pastry defrosting - gonna do my sausage rolls tonight.

 

I saw a delicious dessert on the Gino De Campo programme testerday - a sort of iced/fruit bombe. Got the recipe but think I'll do it New Years Day as it has to be eaten all at once - it's like ice cream. We already have far too many desserts for Christmas day(s).

 

1, Christmas pud

2. Trifle

3. Lemon Tart

4. Chocolate Cheesecake

5. Panna Cotte with hot berry compote

6. Mini strawberry tarts.

 

plus the boys have ice cream snowmen. Not to mention Christmas Cake and Mince pies ...................do you think I'll have enough?

I'm more excited because Mr Cinds & I have asked if our Grand boy can stay with us from when they all come up on the 28th until after the new year, and it's a yes!

Nooooooooooo   Got the Match Attax pack I was waiting on (binder and cards) but they've sent the bloody premiership one (which he has hundreds of) instead of the Championship pack  There's not enough time for them to send another (they posted on 17th and it took 3 days so it would be late for xmas) and I can't find them anywhere in town  Going to have to spend the day on the phone ringing newsagents.

I'm glad master c is over the collecting cards thing now, he had 100's of Pokemon cards. Good luck on your hunt Ells, wish I could help in someway.

 

I only ever collected a sticker book collection once, and that was Care Bears when I was 15 

I collected Gladiator cards  Or maybe it was stickers....I dunno lol.

 

There's hundreds of cards here already but he just loves them, he spends his pocket money on them every week and it's the only specific thing he's asked Santa for.

no probs, as long as that leaves me the chocolate cheesecake, lemon tart and strawberry tarts cos i'm not that greedy
