Look what I found
On Monday during matthew wright's programme a panellist stated that they have a star at the top of their tree and that they didn't think people put angels on the top any more, a few others agreed. I have always had an angel on top, but what does everyone else have on top of their tree?
ps like that ^^^^^^

I have a slutty angel. She's dressed in red.
I have a star. I think.
Supposed to be putting the tree up this evening so I'll find out whether I still have a star or not later
I bought an ivy garland with little lights today - not worth packing it away so I've wound it round my new bannister and hung little wooden Robins and red and white spotted stars in it - it is very, very premature for me
Mr Woo is hanging my gorgeous mirror as we speak - I'm thinking of taking my chair out into the hall - it's just so lovely out there.
That all sounds lovely Sooz!
I've put my tree up. It's a bit skinny so it will be it's final year in our house.
I should be putting mine up this afternoon and decorating it with the kids tonight..... provided i get my pre tree cleaning done that is, although i did most of it over the weekend
It'll all be over soon Joe..stay strong
Pre-tree cleaning done. Wrapping done. Tree arriving Saturday
Just a tad curious .What colour and type of Christmas cracker are you using this Christmas?
I have the Who am I crackers
i'm always a tad disappointed in crackers, the combination of good colour (red or gold), quality card/paper, usefulness of gift and "crack" seems almost an impossibility....
I got me cleaning and tree up this afternoon, needed extra lights so sent MrJen to Tesco, the ones he got were slightly yellow as apposed to white though so i need change them. I still let the kids decorate it though, they've made a right mess of it lol (good thing i'm redoing it when i've changed the lights
AND i got loads of wrapping done tonight

The who am I ones are a bit of fun.

I usually get some silver small ones to go on the tree (they mysteriously disappear over December) and some not too cheap but not really expensive either silver and white ones for the dining table, imo its all a load of tat in them anyway so as long as they look nice I'm happy

Do you ever wear the hats?

we insist on the hat wearing too, (despite oh trying to "accidently" tearing his)
my table including crackers this year is green and gold
I literally bagged a bargain in the summer at the Lidl non food sale - bought a mystery bin bag for a pound and when I opened it it was full of christmas goodies
not sure what the crackers will be like but once lunch is over most of the cracker stuff goes on the log fire in the table clear up

I was just going to say it's been stickied
I can't do pics (sorry) - I'm loving other peoples pics though.
Bought a few more gifts today.
My mum just rang - she's got her bank statement through and said 'What have I been buying from Amazon?'
I have bought stuff for her in the past on my account using her card - I had to change my card details recently and consequently when I ordered loads of Christmas stuff (hundreds of pounds) it's been defaulting to my mums card
I feel awful - so embarrassing - she obviously believes it was an accident but you do hear dreadful stuff about how some people treat their parents
She also believes I'll pay her back

anyhooo.. this is the weekend I'm starting Christmas. Plan is to put the tree up tomorrow - I've just bought a couple of new baubles from B & Q and a poinsettia. Got my first card in the mail today and I have a deadline to meet to get my 'welsh' bro's pressies wrapped this weekend so they can go in the family parcel being sent next week. I expect I'll be back in here ho ho ho-ing tomorrow night.
OK, ok, I give in. Now it's Christmas time. It's December!
I guess I need a new avvy but I can't come up with one for myself. And if I ask you all, whichever one I pick will seem like favouritism (sp).
I was also trying to think of an appropriate name
I'm not a turkey, am I?
Crackers?
Crackers?
That's me
I'll go looking for an appropriate avi tomorrow
It's what I do.........night all
