Pleeeeeease let the snow stay away at least until next week.  We're having an early party from my eldest's birthday and it's a half hour drive away so he'd be gutted if we couldn't go because of snow.

I have my new tree A snowy one ...and it's up and I'm really pleased with it . I even wrapped a couple of presents this afternoon and put them under it . I'm well chuffed

Well I've had an eventful day.

 

Went into the back hall (which is actually a side hall and runs the whole length of the house with a door of it's own at the front of the house) unlocked the door and couldn't get it opened because all the kids xmas toys are in there.  Bit of pushing and shoving and I finally get in but can't move for bags and boxes.  Start shifting things round and end up standing on the box of tree ornaments, break a branch off the xmas tree and beheaded the fibre optic santa

 

Just checked the lights and one my sets isn't working so everything has to sit here now til I get to town tomorrow for more lights.  Might get some new balls too coz mine are all cream and gold.  Might look for some orange ones to match my wallpaper!

I wrapped some pressies and did a load of Christmas cards - I'm never this early - had to stay in today as Mr Woo had ordered snow tyres due to be delivered today (what a boring delivery) - bet your bottom dollar now that he's forked out for special tyres the sun will shine and it'll be a 'totally tropical Christmas'.

My tree seems to be shrinking (because i am definitely not growing!), don't think it can take any lights this year although i do have to find some red and gold crackers

Have some things wrapped, a few things still to get.

Have a Santa figure sitting in the corner of living room, about 4ft, i keep forgetting he is there and nearly jumped out my skin when i went back in! I will get used to him , hopefully

I need just a few bits, we haven't put many under the tree because my granddaughter is 2 in a couple of weeks and likes to open pressies!
